Magdalena Góralska, a licensed mediator and Approved Compliance Officer, is a lawyer with extensive experience in comprehensive support in compliance and corporate governance. She began her professional career in a law firm, then continued in international corporations, including serving as Director of Compliance for Commercial Real Estate in Central and Eastern Europe at BNP Paribas SA. Currently, as an Director for the Eastern Europe region at CBRE, a global leader in real estate, she provides support in broad compliance matters, particularly in ethics and standards, policy implementation processes, anti-money laundering, risk analysis, whistleblower protection, handling and analyzing reports of irregularities, and conducting internal investigations. She has led cross-border compliance projects and is a member of the Internal Investigations Commission and CSR Committee. As a people enthusiast, she promotes pro-social values and attitudes and is the author and presenter of numerous training sessions. Her focus is on promoting compliance awareness broadly. She completed postgraduate studies in management and real estate valuation at the Warsaw University of Technology and obtained certification and listing on the national list of auditors and internal controllers by the Polish Institute of Internal Control. She deepened her compliance knowledge in postgraduate studies on “Compliance in the Organization” at the Warsaw School of Management. She obtained her mediator license from the Polish Mediation Center and was awarded the title of Compliance Officer of the Year 2021 by the Compliance Institute.
