Maciej Tąkiel, PhD

Acting simultaneously as a senior executive and a lawyer, Maciej brings a unique blend of legal
acumen, business development expertise, and innovative thinking to his professional and academic
roles. As Director at Greenberg Traurig Poland he is responsible for overseeing the firm's business
development, communications, strategy, marketing, innovation and legal tech initiatives in Poland and
throughout the region.
With more than a decade of experience in the professional legal services sector at top-tier firms, he
has honed his skills in strategy, innovation, corporate communications, business development
and marketing, legal tech and law firm management. His transactional capital markets and M&A
experience has helped him develop a deep understanding of the legal and business landscape.
Published author, lecturer, currently pursuing an Executive MBA. Winner of the Award of the President
of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange for the Best PhD Dissertation in Poland.
Editor of “Artificial Intelligence and Legal Tech in a Law Firm” published by Wolters Kluwer, the first
publication on Legal Tech in Poland.
